haybale.gif Queanbeyan Cup - Sunday 16 May

This race meeting is the premier event on the Q Racing Calendar and we are happy to be taking the Patting Paddock along again this year for the special children's entertainment area. The weather is usually at its autumn best and it is a great day out for the family before the real chill of winter sets in. The racecourse is easy to find and we have some delightful new lambs that will be making their first appearance.

haybale.gif Wool Day - Old Bus Depot Markets

Sunday 16 May get along to the Old Bus Depot Markets and join in their special Wool Day. Yes everything woolly will be on sale...your chance to buy some great wool products have a warming coffee and see some of our lovely coloured wool on sale at the Black and coloured stall. Look for the lovely wool with the "Bindaree" label...some of it has come from our Patting Paddock sheep and the colours are fabulous. Mention this page and you will get a discount..just tell them you are a Patting Paddock fan!

haybale.gif Trinity Christian School Fete - Saturday 22 May

Yes we will be back at Trinity again this year. A great fete and one of our favourites. Also one of last for the season. Farmer Jane won't be there this year as she leaves for Canada that day, but the Patting Paddock team is primed and ready for her absence. They promise to be on their best behavior. So come out to Wanniassa for a 10am start and join in all the fun of the fair.

haybale.gifNth Curtin Preschool Fete - Sunday 6 June

This is simply the best small fete in Canberra - a wonderful committee put on a great day. An early (often frosty) start at 10 am sees the coffee already brewing, the sausage sizzle in full swing and lots of simple fun things for the whole family to enjoy. We have been going to this fete for many years now and usually make this day the final visit for the season. f.a.r.m. does not do visits during the winter months.

We do not do visits during the winter months of June July or August, so make sure you keep in touch with our website for those spring bookings. We have our interstate commitments with the Milking Barn at the Adelaide and Melbourne Shows in September, but stay in touch for some exciting news on an even bigger front in October!!! Stay warm this winter and we look forward to seeing everyone again in Spring.
