Kathleen
Allan

Kathleen
obtained a Bachelor of Rural Science degree (Hons) from the University
of New England, works for the APVMA in Canberra and lives on the
family's Yass property, "Bindaree", with her husband
David. Kathleen is a partner in farm
animal resource management and
her industry knowledge and ability as a presenter and demonstrator
for f.a.r.m.
has been well recognised.Her work in developing the "Marvellous
Milk" segment has seen this unique hands-on milking display
and dairy product information session achieve a high rating with
teachers and schools.
In 2001, Kathleen was named the winner of the Young Australian
of the Year Regional Initiative Award for NSW, and undertook a
role as Australia Day Ambassador. Kathleen was also selected as
a participant in the NFF Young Leaders in Agriculture program.
She is actively involved in her local Show Society and rural organisations
for young people.
Kathleen's
background, education and achievements, combined with her fresh,
youthful approach are seen as a great asset for f.a.r.m.
