What we do
| Among
people of all ages there is an undoubted fascination with
young animals, and in an increasingly urban society, there
are limited opportunities to see and actually handle farm
animals and their young. |
 |
The
popularity of displays featuring farm animals, and especially
young or newborn offspring is increasing and numerous commercial
operators are taking these "farm babies" into
some unusual environments to satisfy this burgeoning interest
in things "country". |
| Farmyard
nurseries, petting zoos, patting pens, and similar displays
are available in most major cities and cater for a diverse
entertainment market that ranges from a birthday party to
a major exhibition, from a shopping centre feature to a
nursing home visit. |
farm
animal resource
management
offers
a range of
services that extends beyond these boundaries, and adheres to
a policy of providing farm animals and resources for promotional,
educational and tourism associated events and displays, while
guaranteeing excellence in presentation and a commitment to
promoting our agricultural heritage in today's society.
Displays: We can bring our facilities to your nominated site and
present a range of animals, poultry and birds for promotional
or educational purposes. Displays can be small and intimate or
large-scale; the size of the project is no barrier.
Education: Your school,
pre-school or group would love a visit from one of our farmyard
displays. We can tailor the presentation to your school's curriculum,
or just provide a special opportunity for hands-on contact with
our lovable farm animals. Our work with visually impaired and
physically disadvantaged groups is a speciality.
Tourism: If you require some farm animals for a special tourism
promotion or just to entertain some overseas visitors, we can
advise and provide the required stock. Our shearing demonstrations
are a real drawcard, and all at your nominated site.
Media: Animals are great in front of the camera, but only if all
the lead up work has been professionally done. We have considerable
experience in working with the media and providing animals for
some great features.
Resources: Our stock on hand and contacts can provide you with
an extensive range of "agricultural memorabilia", props,
or display material of a "rural" nature for theming
your event or conference. Perhaps a fine wool fleece for a fashion
promotion, some rustic machinery, and some good old country icons
- we can supply the lot!
Visits: We offer an extensive
range of visits that truly bring the farm to you. The safety and
security of being able to enjoy that "farm" experience
in your own environment are a real plus and an alternative to
organising a trip or excursion.
